Regrind & Tool Reconditioning
Marshal Distribution believe in giving our customers a full service and as much support as possible. To this end we provide a fully comprehensive regrind and recondition service, which will put a used cutting tool back to an "as new" condition. The combination of excellent service and expert Applications Engineers, means that customers of our reconditioning service can rely on us to provide the right tool at the right price at the right time.
We undertake far more the simple re-grinding tools, we call this ‘tool re-work’. Each tool undertakes the following processes:-
- Upon receipt the tools are chemically cleaned and sorted
- Visual inspection to confirm the tool can be re-worked
- Tools are re-ground or modified to customer specific requirements or drawing specifications
- Tools are treated to preserve, then re-packed and clearly labeled, to ensure full identification
The primary driving force of our re-work service is ‘quality’ first… The goal is to supply re-worked tools which perform equally if not better than when supplied new, in a consistent and professional manner.
